Pastors Allen and Janice Speegle
Senior Pastors
Allen and Janice got married in 1975, after being childhood sweethearts. They went into ministry in the early 80’s and became Senior Pastors of Family Bible in April of 1993. Allen and Janice are parents of two grown daughters, both of which are in full-time ministry at the church with their husbands.
They place a strong emphasis on the family unit and they desire to develop a church that ministers to the whole family.
The Speegles have a heart to encourage and minister to other leaders and pastors both locally and nationwide. As a result of that calling, they founded Safe Harbor International Network, a worldwide ministers’ association that trains and encourages pastors and leaders to preach the good news of God’s unconditional love and acceptance of mankind.
Allen has a straight, cut-and-dry approach to his communication that is easy to understand, and is based in the simple truths of God’s love. He teaches practical Biblical truths that help people to experience the fullness of life that God alone can offer.
Janice has a unique and refreshing style of communication that connects with each person in a personal and touching way through her humorous outlook on life. She is undoubtedly one of the best cooks on the face of the earth and her cakes get auctioned off for hundreds of dollars - seriously! She did not write this part!!
Above all else, Allen and Janice enjoy spending time with their family. If you ask them, their most favorite role is being Paw and Gia to their precious grandchildren.
Oh, and one more thing. If Janice tells a joke, please laugh!

Pastor Shannon Carroll
Missions & Media Pastor
Born & raised in South Africa, Shannon served in the military before going to Rhema Bible Training Center and then Mission School. For nine years he worked in crusade ministry in Southern and Central Africa with Ed Elliott & Word of Life World Outreach. In 2001 he married Karin and they founded the African satellite of Impact International School of Ministry’s correspondence Bible school before moving over to the USA in January 2004 on invitation from Pastor Allen.
Besides his passion for mission trips and introducing people to the field, Shannon loves to use Media (TV, the internet etc.) to reach people with this Message & tries to make sure things electronic & technical happen around the church.

Pastor Rodrick Windham
Children's Pastor
Rod began ministering at a very young age. He grew up as the 3rd child in a musical family of 7 kids. He began traveling to different countries and ministering through the Word and in music in 1986. After pastoring a church in North Carolina, Rod moved to Family Bible to minister as children’s pastor, worship leader and youth pastor for many years. In recent years, Rod's chosen to focus his talents on building an exceptional Children's ministry.
Rod’s hobbies include all things western, bookstores with Jill, eating good food, the occasional game of golf, and loving on his family as much as is humanly possible. He also has the loudest laugh you’ve ever heard, especially if you’re in a movie theater with him.

Pastor Jill Windham
Executive & Worship Pastor
Jill is the eldest daughter of Senior Pastors Allen & Janice Speegle. Since she grew up in ministry, it wasn’t any surprise when she married Rod, who was then the youth pastor at the church. In 1996 Jill joined the staff and served as Children’s Pastor for ten years. Now, as Executive Pastor, she works closely with her parents to help carry out their vision to reach Lake County and the world with the Gospel. She hummed endlessly before she could even talk, so leading worship is one of her favorite things to do.
Jill loves spending quality time connecting with her husband Rod, daughter Abi and newest release, Walker! It transcends into her teaching… helping people place value on their own families. One of the avenues she utilizes to reach parents is through her popular Old School Parenting blog. In her free time, she enjoys laughing until she snorts, reading, loving on her chewy nephew Legend, cooking, and finding new ways to be sarcastic.

Pastor Seth Adgate
Youth & Media Pastor
Seth and Lori married in August of 2008. After Bible college at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, the two returned to Eustis to join FB Church staff full-time as youth pastors. One look at Seth and Lori and it’s easy to see why our youth are drawn to them like the magnets they are.
Seth wears several hats around FB Church. He is one of our media pastors, and manages our filming department. He is instrumental in being a creative mind behind FB Church’s visual outreach methods, using his talents to produce videos to get the Gospel out in relevant ways around the world.
Seth enjoys playing the guitar, DSLR filmmaking, staying active and spending time with his family.

Youth Pastor
Lori is the youngest daughter of Allen and Janice. She is in charge of our graphics department at FB Church and has unbelievable talent to present the message of God’s love in creative visual ways.
Lori is a living example of “thinking outside the box” and lives her life in Technicolor. In her personal time, she enjoys arts and crafts, shopping, being with her family and son Legend and the occasional dinner out without having to feed anything out of a jar to anybody.
Seth and Lori pastor Circa, our youth ministry for middle and high school students. They are passionate about reaching today’s teenagers with acceptance and relationships. On the forefront of their hearts is finding innovative and challenging ways to draw young people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Melissa Abrehamsen
Safe Harbor Administrator & Personal Assitant to Pastor Allen
In 1998, Melissa volunteered at Family Church before she became a staff member in 2003. Her passion is to see women connect with who they truly are in Christ. She teaches a Renewing Your Mind course to women who struggle with their true-God-given-identity. Melissa is a graduate of The Institute of Children’s Literature and a published writer. Enthralled by the inner-workings of the mind, soul, and spirit, she loves depicting all three in her writing. She has been married to her wonderful husband Mark for 20 years and has three children. Melissa organizes the annual Safe Harbor Leadership conference where pastors and leaders from across the world come together. Francine Thomas
Financial administrator & Ministry Co-ordinator
Born in Pennsylvania, later raised near Montreal, Quebec, Francine has been in Florida for 20 years. Her gift in administration and an eye for detail found a home at Family Bible. But more importantly, she has a heart for the broken and a desire to fulfill the vision that Pastor Allen has for the church. Francine is a proud mother of three young “men-in-training”. Her passions include motorcycle riding, shooting guns, and politics. Other than handling the finances at FB Church, Francine serves as the “point guard” for Sunday services, coordinates the volunteer leaders, encourages and facilitates their goals for their ministries, and manages church events. Jennifer Brine
Receptionist & SuperChurch Assistant
Jenn Brine became an active volunteer soon after coming to Family Bible Church in August 2006, taking up slack wherever needed. In 2010 she became a full time staff member and a vital part of the ministry. She is passionate about helping youth in CIRCA where she coordinates the activities and also works with the 1st-5th graders in SuperChurch. Pastors Rod, Seth and Lori rely on Jenn as their point person for various events including Vacation Bible School. Paul Houser
Custodian & faithful server
Paul is a man with a generous servant's heart. Still passionate about cooking and good ingredients, he has a long history (and many stories) serving as a chef in numerous restaurants across the country. Passionate about his salvation and living relationship with the Lord Jesus, Paul spends much of his week caring for his elderly mother: Dorothea Purdy, a prayer stalwart in our community for many years. He is happy to serve the staff and people of FB Church faithfully cleaning and caring for many "invisible" yet essential functions of this ministry.
